Hope is Real

Hope is as real as beautiful flowers around us

‘Darkness is not able to find light, but conviction that light will never come.(Source: Justice League Movie). However if we believe that no matter what we will be able to find source of light soon enough to eliminate darkness of our life. Thats what I called Hope

Sometimes we feel crippled during our journey called Life, we feel as if everything around us is unfair and we are the ones suffering. We blame God, family, friends and most of the times our own self. We cry, we crib and if it goes worst than we feel depressed and in some cases you might feel suicidal. So is there a way out? Is it normal not to feel depressed when life does not happen the way we want? Well, Yes! There is not just one but multiple ways to keep your hope alive and believe in God’s timing. You just need three ingredients to fight through every damn situation in your life.

Here is my secret recipe:

Ingredients:-

1)Hope- 1 Heartfull

2).Faith- 1 Soulfull

3).Courage-1 Mindfull

Hope-No matter if your life is withered in every way, you can still convince your heart that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes the tunnel will end soon, sometimes a tunnel can test your patience. But if you are hopeful, you have the power to make the journey through the tunnel beautiful. If you need support, you can take help from God and that is where faith will come in picture.

Faith: No one has seen God, but we still believe in him. Similarly no one has seen dreams while awake but still some do believe in their dreams. Faith is like telling God I need support to launch my dream project, and if your faith is strong, you are passionate about your project he will deploy resources at right time. So believe in his timing. Trust him and he will reciprocate.

Courage:Well! Technically courage is a combination of hope and faith mixed in equal quantities. When your hope and faith are strong, you will have all the power to change any situation in life. You will feel strong mentally. And with a stable mind comes the strength to believe in you.

I have faced many difficult phases in life, but this is my mantra to never give up.Whatever life has thrown at me, I have shielded myself with these 3 superpowers. Not all my dreams come true, but I do believe God will bless my dreams when the time is right.

Have a Wonderful Life. Stay Blessed

Shubh

Solo Travel like a Pro! Here’s your checklist:-

Here is a list of top 6 things that you need to carry while travelling solo.

  1. Selfie Stick- Its difficult to find a perfect photographer while you explore the world all alone, so a selfie stick is a must have to capture your best moments. Master the art of a Perfect Selfie:)

2). Power Bank- Your phone is the most important companion for all your solo trips, you need to keep your gps on, you need to inform your family, you need call your cabbie, take pictures, play candy crush and bla bla. So do not leave home without a charger and a power bank.

3). Headphones- Entertainment is also an important part of your travel, at times you have wait at a hotel lobby since you are early than check-in time or wait for a train or flight. So you can kill boredom by watching a movie or playing your favourite music or a video chat with family & friends. #entertainyourself

4). Scarf-  A scarf not just enhance your style statement, but also has multi-purpose. It protects you from dust & wind, safeguard your hair for perfect selfie and most importantly avoids face tan. Carry one for each day, more colorful better pictures.

5).Medicines– When you leave from home everyone says Take Care and when you travel solo you literally have to. So its important to carry a medicine box. Identify your trouble areas, like I usually suffer from headache & nausea. So do carry a strip of regular medicines so that nothing comes in your way between you and your dream trip.

6). A small Note-book- Well! a notebook is also very important. Firstly you should always write all the important numbers in that note-book before you leave home, so that if in case you loose your phone you will have all the details handy. Secondly a note-book is always useful to write down few things while you travel, assuming your phone is getting charged. In my case I am fond of writing diary everyday.

You can travel like a Boss when you have all the above things. I prefer to carry all these things in my big tote bag, how about you?

Let me know if you think I missed an item.

Have a Happy wonderlustlife.

Planning a Solo trip? Here’s is how you should begin.

Most of you often think about doing a solo trip, but preparing your mind and heart might be a difficult task. There are questions hovering around Where to go? How to convince family? Will I get Bored? Should I book a hotel or airbnb? Is my destination safe? All of these will be answered in one go if have a YES from your soul.So here is quick recipe for a super successful Solo trip.

1). Convince your inner home ministry- Mind, Heart & Soul. Be determined, since you never know a solo trip might be a life changing experience.

2). Once you are settled, time to take vote of confidence from your family. I usually play emotional card, “I need this trip desperately, to bring back my strength and lot many other girls are doing it”. Try this, you can show them few articles or blogs.

3). Perfect so we are ready, finally the bill is passed. Excited? Time to choose your destination. Three things while working on your destination: Budget, Connectivity & Research. In India you can start your solo trip from either Rajasthan or Goa, I choose Goa and my experience was superb. You can have beer, beach & bikini:). But if you want to explore out of India then you start from Singapore or certain cities of Europe. I will another blog on each city I have visited at length. You can also begin your solo trip from a place you have already been to, since you would know places to explore but this time with a different perspective.

4). So we have our destination and I am sure you have checked travel options to suit your budget. Please choose morning or afternoon arrivals considering safety and ease of entering in a new city.

5). Hotel or Airbnb?  Both has its advantage & disadvantage. While in hotel you can pamper yourself like a queen and you can reach upto hotel reception for any urgent needs. At airbnb you can live like your home and if you are lucky to find a good host, he/she might help you out. But in both cases always choose a central location. It would cost slightly more but trust me you will thank me later.

6).Looks like you are all set, you know your destination, tickets are booked and even place to stay is sorted. Time to think about Itinerary or just keep it fluid upto to you.

Solo trips are best done when you don’t have to stick to a schedule, just relax! Soak yourself in the city that you are visiting. Interact with locals, have a lazy lunch, carry a book and click unlimited selfies. Nobody is there to control your time., nobody cares how you look and what you eat.

Sounds good? Do send me your first solo trip experiences and you can check mine @truelyclassy at Instagram.

Have a Happy Wonderlust life.
